The late Jose Ramón Rementeria, put forward a theory named “literal semanticism” in order to explain the origin of human language from primitive Basque language.
In other words, each vocal and consonant acquired a specific meaning since the beginning and did not change later on. This meaning could change depending on the letter place inside each word and depending on level of idea in which relationship object-name was established.
Although the initial proposal of literal semanticism was made by Pedro Pablo Astarloa, a different later development was put forward by Rementeria.
